Victor Nilsson Lindelöf had a choppy December.

The Swedish midfielder was replaced with chest pain against Norwich on 11 December.

He was declared healthy shortly afterwards but never had time to make a comeback when he fell ill with covid-19 a few days before New Year.

But this week he has been back in training.

- Victor is back in training since yesterday (Thursday), which is very good news for us, says Ralf Rangnick.

On Monday, Manchester United will meet Aston Villa in the FA Cup and then Lindelöf will be there.

- Victor will definitely be ready for the match on Monday, Rangnick says.

Lindelöf missed a total of four matches during his absence.
