Kenta Hasegawa, the new coach of soccer J1 and Nagoya Grampus, held an inaugural press conference and stated his enthusiasm, "I want to do my best to win the league."

New director Hasegawa is 56 years old from Shizuoka prefecture.

In 2014, when he led Gamba Osaka, he won the J1 League Cup and the Emperor's Cup in Japan, and has won 218 wins in J1 as a coach so far.

Following the former coach Ficcadenti, who led to the J-League Cup championship last year, he will take command of the Grampus from this season and held an inaugural press conference on the 7th.

In this, Director Hasegawa strongly stated his goal, "I think I was entrusted with the coach in anticipation of victory, so I would like to aim for the league championship and the cup match."

Grampus shined a solid defense last year, setting a new J1 record with no runs in 21 games, while scoring 44 and remaining in 9th place in the league, and strengthening the offensive power is an issue.

Director Hasegawa said, "In defense, which is a strong point, I think that I will not reach the victory unless I score 50 or more while leaving good points, so I would like to further increase the attack. I will play hot soccer with enthusiasm. I want to do it, "he said with enthusiasm.

The team will start on the 10th of this month, and Hasegawa will continue to build the team for the opening of the league next month.
