Stina Nilsson has developed as a biathlete and in Oberhof's sprint she was second best Swedish after Hanna Öberg.

It was also her second best World Cup placement since the switch to biathlon.

The best came when she finished tenth in the hunt start in Hochfilzen.

Helena Ekholm wants her to go to the Olympics in Beijing - but despite that, there does not have to be any competitions there.

- I think that Stina and Mona should get the two remaining places.

But it is difficult to decide based on today's special competition.

Even if Stina is selected, it is far from a given that she will be allowed to drive, says the expert.

One who is not allowed to go to the Olympics then is Johanna Skottheim.

In Oberhof, she participated in the World Cup for the first time since Östersund in early December.

She did not put much focus on the Olympics when she spoke before the competitions in Oberhof.

- The Olympics are a dream and a goal for many.

When you are not even competing, it is difficult to join a team.

For my part, I want to give myself as good opportunities as the opportunity to compete.

But I do not think it benefits me to think about taking me to a possible Olympics, she said then.

The next competition is expected to take place after the competitions in Ruhpolding on 16 January.
