China News Service, Beijing, January 6 (Reporter Du Yan) As the only newly-built ice competition venue for the Beijing Winter Olympics, the National Speed Skating Stadium adheres to the concept of green, shared, open, and clean Olympics during the construction process, contributing to the world The "China Plan" for the construction of the Olympic venues is composed of Chinese design, Chinese technology, Chinese materials, and Chinese manufacturing.

In another month, it will take on the speed skating competition and witness the birth of 14 gold medals.

The planning and construction of the "Ice Ribbon" started in November 2015.

Beijing State-owned Assets Co., Ltd. took the initiative to ask Ying to undertake the work.

Throughout the planning and construction stage, as the representative of the government funder, Beijing State-owned Assets Co., Ltd. pooled resources from all parties to establish a national speed skating stadium company to achieve innovation and breakthroughs in project planning, construction design, technological highlights, and technological innovation. It took two years to transform the "Ice Ribbon" from a conceptual rendering into a landmark venue for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

On June 26, 2018, the "Ice Ribbon" underground structure project was completed in "intensive farming".

In order to ensure the quality and schedule of the project, the National Speed Skating Stadium organizes operators to fight continuously.

The pile foundation construction started on January 22, 2018, and the construction of 654 foundation piles was completed in 23 days.

Since the project fully entered the foundation slab construction in May 2018, more than 2,000 operators have been fighting in 49 flow sections at most, completing 270,000 cubic meters of earth excavation, 20,000 tons of steel banding, and 91,000 cubic meters of concrete pouring. The construction of 2500 tons of rigid steel structure took 155 days to complete the underground structure project as scheduled.

On September 30, 2018, the "Ice Ribbon" completed the concrete main structure, realizing its rise from the ground.

During the construction of the main structure, the use of a number of processes reflects the technological content and green concept, and promotes the efficient construction of the project.

For example, while the ring truss of the National Speed Skating Stadium is installed, civil engineering and steel structure construction are carried out simultaneously, laying the foundation for the realization of the overall schedule goal; the support system used for the overall slippage of the ring truss can also be reused during the life cycle; During construction, waste cement pile heads are recycled and reused and converted into raw materials for making stands.

At the same time, the stand board adopted by the National Speed Skating Stadium is the first curved fair-faced concrete stand board in China. Although the prefabricated stand components are of various sizes and arcs, they are tightly assembled into a grand stand.

These high-efficiency and environmentally-friendly new technologies and new processes are the key to the construction of the "Ice Ribbon" to continuously refresh the "Winter Olympic Speed".

In March 2019, the "sky curtain weaving" on the roof of the National Speed Skating Hall was completed.

The National Speed Skating Stadium adopts a hyperboloid saddle-shaped single-layer cable net structure roof design, which is woven by 49 pairs of load-bearing cables and 30 pairs of stabilizer cables to grow a cable mesh roof with a span of 198 meters and a short span of 124 meters, and then pave 1,080 4× Assembled by 4m unit roof panels, it is currently the world's largest single-layer two-way orthogonal saddle-shaped cable net roof stadium.

With this cable-net structure design, the amount of steel used for the "ice ribbon" is only one-fourth of that of the traditional roof.

Through the use of domestic high-vanadium closed cables, the "Ice Ribbon" cracked the "chuck neck" technology of high-vanadium closed cables in the roof cable net structure, promoted the construction of the first domestic production line, broke the monopoly of imported cables, and filled the large domestic cable The application of the venue is blank.

In May 2020, the National Speed Skating Stadium won the "2019 China Steel Structure Industry's Highest Engineering Award-China Steel Structure Gold Award Annual Outstanding Engineering Award".

On December 31, 2019, the National Speed Skating Stadium "Ribbon Flying" was unveiled as a whole.

In order to create a light and elegant ribbon effect, the façade of the National Speed Skating Stadium is assembled from 3360 curved glass units, which are closely embedded in a frame made of 160 S-shaped steel keels through mechanical cooperation with workers.

The glass used in the curved curtain wall has a different curvature for each size, all of which are customized in the factory and installed on-site through BIM technology.

This innovative "ice ribbon"-shaped curved glass curtain wall is inspired by the combination of ice and snow sports and speed. The hovering "ice ribbon" symbolizes the trajectory left by the skates when speed skaters slide in at high speed. At the same time, there are 22 "ice ribbons". The "ribbon" also symbolizes the hosting of the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022.

On January 22, 2021, the National Speed Skating Stadium succeeded in making ice for the first time.

The nearly 12,000 square meters ice surface of the "Ice Ribbon" is the world's largest speed skating arena that uses carbon dioxide to make ice. The carbon emissions of the ice making process are approaching zero, and the temperature difference of the ice surface can be controlled within 0.5 ℃, which not only improves efficiency More than 20%, the cooling is more even, which helps athletes to create good results, and set a new benchmark for the Olympic Games in terms of green, environmental protection and sustainability.

At the "Meet in Beijing" Speed Skating China Open held in October this year, four athletes skated their best results on the "Ice Ribbon" 5 times.

On December 26, 2021, the National Speed Skating Stadium will be completed as a smart venue.

During the construction phase, the National Speed Skating Stadium applied BIM technology and robotics technology to ensure that the hardware facilities were completed and put into use, realizing smart construction.

In the operation stage, "Ice Ribbon" realizes smart operation through smart integration and digital twin platform, which can not only provide high-quality viewing experience and complete service guarantee for spectators, event organizations and participants, but also reduce energy consumption and benefit the venues. Long-term sustainable operation.

The reporter learned that after the Winter Olympics, the "Ice Ribbon" will focus on creating a multi-functional ice and snow sports center integrating the five functions of "sports events, mass fitness, cultural leisure, exhibitions, and social welfare", and become the people to experience the beautiful winter life. New landmark.

The "Ice Ribbon" all-ice design can divide the ice surface into areas with different temperatures, and carry out all mass ice sports such as ice hockey, speed skating, figure skating, and curling at the same time, helping "300 million people participate in ice and snow sports."

Yue Peng, secretary of the party committee and chairman of Beijing State-owned Assets Corporation, said that the preparations for the Winter Olympics have reached the critical moment for timekeeping and sprinting. The Olympic Games will contribute to the power of state-owned enterprises in the capital.
