There have been various tours around Nilsson's possible Olympic venue in recent days.

On Sunday, Aftonbladet wrote that she was ready for the Olympics, something that was quickly denied by the Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK) for SVT Sport.

Stina Nilsson herself says that she is waiting for information.

- I knew that they will make the next selection after Ruhpolding (competitions 12-16 January), so I understood that it was not true and that someone needed to go out and deny it quite quickly so that not ordinary people go and think that I am selected although I am not, says Stina Nilsson to SVT Sport.

Her focus is here and now, this weekend the World Cup continues in Oberhof.

- I do not think about the Olympics.

I think I want to continue my little journey in biathlon and see where it takes me.

If it takes me to an Olympics this year - great fun.

But I kind of do not see that this is my last season.

I see one for the Olympics, as well.

I just want to continue to develop, says Nilsson.

It would be a bit tickling to be able to run an Olympics right now, right?

- I just think it's stupid to focus on that.

I focus on my performance in the first place and my development.
