KHL cancels two Salavat matches due to nine cases of COVID-19 among athletes

Nine representatives of Salavat Yulaev passed positive tests for COVID-19.

The league decided not to play matches between Salavat and Jokerit (January 8) and Dinamo Riga (January 10), according to the KHL press service.

Salavat Yulaev (62 points) is fourth in the Eastern Conference standings.

Jokerit (62 points) are in third place in the West.

Dynamo are at 12th.

Earlier, Metallurg criticized the KHL's decision to hold a match with Barys in an emergency mode.
