Undefeated Cederroos (8-0, 4 KO) was booked to meet American Franchón Crews-Dezurn in June for all four world championship belts in super middleweight (76.2 kilos).

But on location in Miami and with days left until the match, everything was postponed due to another boxer at the gala having tested positive for covid-19.

- I am shocked, Cederroos told SVT Sport that time.

The big title match was postponed until September, but just hours before leaving for the USA, a new heavy message came.

The match was canceled, again due to covidfall.

- It is a little sad in the heart not to be allowed to go when you spend so much time, she said then.

"This match deserves it"

Long after the original date of the match, it now seems to be gone.

Both Cederroos and the opponent Franchón Crews-Dezurn have signed a contract with the promoter Matchroom Boxing, which will arrange the match during the spring.

- Considering what has happened in the last year, I do not know that it will happen until I step up in the ring, but it feels great that Matchroom, which is one of the largest platforms, gives us this chance.

This match deserves it.

Now I keep my fingers crossed that everything is going well in these times, she says to SVT Sport.

- Matchroom invests in women's boxing and it feels like they want to invest in this weight class as well, which is a bit heavier.

It feels really good.

"Has been ready for a long time"

The plan is for the match to be decided in the USA, but no date has yet been announced.

- Now I will apply for a visa and it will take some time.

Based on previous experience, I would be very surprised if this could be done in February, so I guess it's about March or April.

Your last match was in January 2020. Eager to go up in the ring again?

- Yes absolutely.

I've been ready for a long time!
