Yas Circuit puts the final touches on hosting the 10th edition of the "Gulf 12 Hours" endurance race

Yas Marina Circuit is preparing to host the tenth edition of the "Gulf 12 Hours" race, the only and unique endurance race in the region, from tomorrow Thursday until next Saturday.

The event will see 15 cars from the starting line, including 12 GT3 cars and 3 GT4 cars.

These cars form 10 teams representing six different manufacturers, including Mercedes, Ferrari, Aston Martin and McLaren.

The 12-hour endurance race is divided into two parts of six hours on the new track at Yas Marina Circuit, where they take on the challenge on the modified track in three locations that provide more opportunities to overtake and compete for a faster race.

The Gulf 12 Hours race was held for the first time at the famous Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi in January 2012, and in December of 2019 the ninth edition of the event was held, where Audi recorded its first win in the Atembo Racing car, which was driven by Christopher Maes, Dries Vanthur and Renate Salikoff. .
