Germany's ski jumpers have all qualified for the third competition of the Four Hills Tournament in Bischofshofen.

In the preliminary round on Wednesday, Karl Geiger (131.5 meters) was the best German in fifth on the hill in Pongau, right behind him his friend Markus Eisenbichler (132.5 meters) landed sixth and Olympic champion Andreas Wellinger (129 meters) as seventh.

Severin Freund (12th), Stephan Leyhe (24th), Pius Paschke (27th), and Constantin Schmid (29th) are also for the competition of the best 50 athletes in the late afternoon (4.30 p.m. in the FAZ live ticker for the Four Hills Tournament and in ARD and Eurosport).

The German team went back to the hotel for something to eat before the competition.

The victory was once again secured by the Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi, who jumped the best distance with 141.5 meters and thus left the competition behind.

Behind the tour leader, who won in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, three Norwegians followed in Marius Lindvik, Daniel-André Tande and Halvor Egner Granerud.

The jumping will be made up after it could not be held on Tuesday due to a foehn storm in Innsbruck.

In Pongau there will now be a qualifying session on two consecutive days, followed by a competition.

Such a postponement has only occurred once in the history of the tour: in 2008, when Innsbruck was also canceled and the event was rescheduled in Bischofshofen.
