Spanish star Rafael Nadal appeared in his first match after recovering from Corona, and his participation in the Melbourne Summer Tennis Championships, where he played a doubles match with his compatriot Jaume Munnar (left) against Thomas Martin Echeveri and Sebastian Baez of Argentina.

Nadal had arrived in Australia a few days ago, announcing his participation in the Australian Open, which starts on the 17th of this month and will continue until the 30th of it, after recovering from being infected with the Corona virus, and publishing a picture of him on his Instagram account in which he said, "Do not tell anyone, but I am here."

Australian Open champion Naomi Osaka of Japan also made a lackluster return to the court for the first time in four months, but reached the Melbourne second round with a 6-4 3-6 6-3 victory over Alize Cornet on Tuesday.

The Japanese player suffered during her first service and committed 57 unforced errors, including eight double faults, during the confrontation with the former world number 11.

"I feel like I probably made a lot of unforced errors, but that's to be expected because it's the first match," Osaka said.

"I was really nervous, so I'm glad I kept my serve in the first half," she added.
