Shabab Al-Ahly booked its place in the semi-finals of the Professional Football League, by beating Ajman 1-0 in the match that brought them together yesterday at Rashid Stadium in Ajman, scored by Mahdi Qaidi in the 32nd minute.

Shabab Al-Ahly won the first leg with two goals against a goal, to wait for the winner of the Al-Wahda and Al-Nasr meeting, which is being held today, to meet him in the next stage of the competition.

Al-Ahly youth deserved the victory that they sought to achieve, especially in the first half, after the Ajman coach made a big mistake by keeping the duo Muhammad Ismail and the foreign professional Miral on the bench, and preferred them to the young players Abdullah Jassim and Muhammad Saleh.

Al-Ahly youth showed a real danger with the tenth minute through Ahmed Nourallah, who fired a powerful ball from the edge of the box, which goalkeeper Ali Al-Hosani managed to control.

The visiting team was able to enhance its advantage by scoring a goal through Mehdi Kaidi, who took advantage of a joint error between Abdullah Jassim and Mohammed Saleh, to hit a ball from a difficult place into the net.

And the position of the orange changed in the second half thanks to the changes made by his coach with the descent of Muhammad Ismail, Miral and Bilal Youssef, so that Ajman imposed its control and preference over the Al-Ahly youth, whose players fell back in front of the continuous attempts of the owners of the land to modify the result.

The substitute Muhammad Hilal, who played in the place of the injured Firas Al Arabi, missed an easy opportunity to score, when he received the ball while he was in a confrontation with goalkeeper Majed Nasser, but he hit the ball next to the post.

Ali Al-Hosani prevented Al-Ahly youth team from scoring the second goal when he blocked the Brazilian Eduardo's single shot.
