On January 2, local time, the Brazilian Serie A team Cruzeiro’s media office announced that the team’s largest shareholder, former Brazil international and famous star Ronaldo, was diagnosed with new crown pneumonia.
According to the announcement, Ronaldo’s symptoms of new coronary pneumonia are mild and he is undergoing social quarantine as prescribed by his doctor, while Ronaldo himself expressed regret that he was infected.
Previously, Ronaldo acquired 90% of the Cruzeiro club and became the team's largest shareholder. Because of the confirmed new crown, Ronaldo will be absent from the team's 101st anniversary celebration.
