Indonesia, led by coach Shin Tae-yong, poured everything into the second leg of the Southeast Asian soccer Suzuki Cup final, but could not overcome the loss by four goals in the first leg and took the runners-up.

Indonesia ignited hope when Kambuaya scored the opening goal in the 7th minute of the first half.

However, in the 9th minute of the second half, Thailand's Chrysorn gave up an equalizer, and 2 minutes later, they allowed a comeback goal, giving the game a sharp turn.

Indonesia, however, did not just sit down.

In the 35th minute of the second half, Maulana's goal made it 2-2.

Although they lost the first and second rounds 6-2 on aggregate and gave up the championship to Thailand and took the runners-up, coach Shin Tae-yong led the players to the end and received applause.
