Al-Amri Farouk returns to the position of Vice President of Al-Ahly of Egypt by a court ruling

Today, Sunday, Al-Ahly Club of Egypt announced the return of Al-Amri Farouk to the position of vice-president of the club, according to a court ruling.

Farouk obtained a ruling from the Administrative Court against the decision not to announce his victory in the elections.

According to a statement on the Al-Ahly club’s official website, “The Second Circuit of the Administrative Court of the State Council decided to cancel the decision of the committee supervising the Al-Ahly elections not to announce Al-Amri Farouk as the winner of the position of Vice President.”

The statement added, "Al-Amri Farouk submitted his appeal and solidarity with Al-Ahly Club, who assigned Mohamed Othman, the club's legal advisor, to follow up the case, and Al-Amri requested in his appeal to cancel the decision of the committee supervising the elections and its consequences. Al-Ahly's board of directors headed by Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib announced his joining Al-Amri." Farouk in his lawsuit and requests, out of respect and appreciation for the will of the General Assembly, which granted Al-Amiri its confidence with more than 19,000 votes.
