In the middle of the Tour de Ski, it is clear that Anna Dyvik will be the 14th cross-country skier to receive a ticket to the Olympics.

Dyvik, who made his own investment outside the national team, was the best Swede in the premiere sprint on Tuesday.

Something that seemed to have rewarded itself.

- It means a lot to me to succeed in taking me to the Olympics in this strong women's team that Sweden has right now.

I am very proud that I did it by deciding to go my own way and believe in it, says Anna Dyvik to the ski association's website.

This will be Dyvik's second Olympic Games, she was also selected in the squad for Pyeongchang 2018.

- Anna Dyvik has shown that she can perform at the highest level, including a semi-final place and a final place in the freestyle sprint in recent weeks.

We believe and hope that she has another gear to put in, says national team manager Anders Byström.

There is now a ladies' and a men's place to fight for the Swedish riders.

- It will be decided who or who gets that place after the Tour de Ski, Byström concludes.
