Jesper Wallstedt played great when Sweden won against Slovakia in the second group game in the JVM.

The Luleå goalkeeper accounted for 48 saves and kept a clean sheet in the 3-0 victory.

The night before Thursday, the idea was that Sweden should face the United States.

After positive covid tests in the American team, however, it is unclear whether the match will be played.

But the Swedish goalkeeper is still ready for play.

- It is always important to be professional and one hundred percent in the work you mainly do outside the ice, so that you can then perform when you get on the ice, says Jesper Wallstedt.

Will it make a difference for you to face the USA, compared to the two previous matches?

- I will focus on my game and do what I always do, not try to adapt so much to the opposition.

Without more focus on trying to do my thing and stick to my game, I think it will go well.

The match against the USA is scheduled to be played on Thursday 03.00.

The match is broadcast on SVT1 and SVT Play.
