The first game of Group B, which took place on the ice of the Westerner Park Centrium arena in Red Deer (Canada), ended with a score of 6: 3 in favor of the Scandinavian national team.
As part of the Russian national team, the goals were scored by Matvey Michkov (45th and 46th minutes), Fedor Svechkov (37th).
Among the Swedes, Simon Edvinsson (27th) scored a goal in the minority, as well as Oscar Olausson (6th), Emil André (35th) and Alexander Holz (44th) in the majority.
The final point in the match was put by Theodor Niederbach (52nd) and Daniel Jungman (59th, empty net).
In the next match, Sergey Zubov's team will face Switzerland on December 28.
