When last season's final teams, Villa-Lidköping and Västerås, met for the first time since Villa's final victory
Villa-Lidköping took the lead already in the second minute of the match through Matilda Svenler.
10 minutes later, Villa had acquired a 3-0 lead after goals from Tilda Ström and Ida Friman.
Västerås got a chance to get into the match when captain Charlotte Selbekk put 1-3 on a corner but Villa quickly extinguished the hope for VSK again.
Just over seven minutes later, Lisa Östman made it 4-1 and before the first half was over, the reigning champion had acquired a 6-1 lead.
And Villa-Lidköping did not slow down in the second half.
In the 52nd minute, little sister Moa Friman made it 7-1 to the home team.
Västerås scored a consolation goal but it did not help much.
Immediately after, Villa responded with, among other things, three more goals by Tilda Ström who thus fixed a hat trick.
Villa eventually won 11-3.
