The competitive program of the Russian Figure Skating Championship is over, but its solemn and spectacular parts are still left.

On Sunday, fans again filled the stands of the Yubileiny sports complex to first celebrate the won medals with the skaters, and then enjoy their demonstration performances.

The awards ceremony was not without some funny things.

When the silver medalists in pair skating Alexandra Boykova and Dmitry Kozlovsky took to the ice and tried to greet the fans beautifully, the girl suddenly fell on the ice.

Laughing, she and her partner rolled to the podium.

The bronze medalist Andrei Mozalev had a completely different mood.

He did not hide his frustration due to what was announced a little earlier: Yevgeny Semenenko, who became the fourth, will go to the European Championship instead.

While the prize-winners were preparing for the demonstration performances, those who were left without awards found something to surprise the audience with.

Dancers Anastasia Skoptsova and Kirill Alyoshin recreated the most musical scene from the comedy "Ivan Vasilyevich Changes His Profession", including many elements from Russian folk dances in their act.

Sophia Samodelkina went out on the ice to the music of Georgy Sviridov, which was used the day before by the victorious Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov.

Some skaters paid tribute to the city that hosted the competition.

Daria Pavlyuchenko and Denis Khodykin performed to the song "Neva" performed by Ivan Urgant and Therr Maitz, and Annabel Morozov and Andrey Bagin chose "The City That Doesn't Exist".

Umbrella, to which Elizaveta Shanaeva and David Narizhny danced, could also be considered a kind of dedication to St. Petersburg and its inclement weather.

The queen of exhibition performances Elizaveta Tuktamysheva returned to her most famous number to the song Toxic by Britney Spears. In the form of a seductive stewardess, she first served cabbage pies to commentators Alexander Grishin and Maxim Trankov, and then performed a striptease. Fans of figure skating can only regret that there will be no such performance either at the European Championships, or, most likely, at the Olympics - Tuktamysheva this year again did not join the Russian national team.

In the second part of the demonstration performances, several surprises awaited the audience at once. Anna Shcherbakova returned to her famous program "The Firebird", the main feature of which was a change in the color of the dress. This time, the wardrobe item let the athlete down and did not "repaint" during the rotation, so it had to be done manually a little later. Alexandra Trusova was introduced as the "Russian rocket", after which she performed in the form of Wonder Woman, but still did not show her signature quadruple jumps.

After the dance of the vice-champions of Russia in the dances of Diana Davis and Gleb Smolkin, Evgenia Medvedeva appeared on the ice in a lush purple tutu.

She showed the fans a rental that had not yet become competitive to the music of Cirque du Soleil.

The skater pleased with both a clean triple salchow and a wheel, not being afraid to make it with gloves.

She skated so confidently as if she had just competed with other girls.

Particular delight in the stands was caused by the appearance of Alina Zagitova, who was presented not only as a titled athlete, but also as an “Ice Age star”.

The Olympic champion arrived in St. Petersburg with a completely new number to the song "I" performed by Manizha.

The rental turned out to be extremely serious and at the same time sensual, but it did not live up to all expectations - the only attempt to execute the jump was ruined by a butterfly.

Among the champions of Russia, the most difficult skating was presented by Mark Kondratyuk.

To the music of the performer Sub Urban, he performed two quadruple salchows - the element that helped him a lot to win gold.

Many jumps, but still triple, were in the performance of Kamila Valieva, who presented her variation on the theme of the film "Avatar".

Mishin and Gallyamov were pleased with the most original number.

Their performance in the form of a brutal rocker with an electric guitar and his modest fan with a portrait of an idol was as powerful as the pair's competitive programs.
