The Norwegian cross-country national team announced on Sunday morning that Ingvild Flugstad Östberg is forced to take a break from all competition due to health problems.

- Ingvild's health situation is unfortunately not good enough to compete in the tour.

The follow-up done after the initial competitions shows that her health situation can not stand the competition program.

Ingvild must therefore take a longer break from the competition, which means that the Olympics unfortunately come too soon, says Öystein Andersen, medical director of the Norwegian cross-country national team.

The Norwegian national team also announces that Maiken Caspersen Falla is in charge of the Tour de Ski.
