Algerian player Locar Sofiane, captain of Mouloudia Saida, died after suffering a heart attack during the match his team played with its host, "Association of Oran" today, Saturday, in the Algerian second division.

Locar fell on the field after a serious head-on collision with the goalkeeper of the "Association of Oran" team, but he returned to play again after receiving first aid, before falling to the ground after suffering a heart attack.

Mouloudia Happy's Facebook account quoted the coach of the Arab team, Morsli, in which he said that the player "fell in an ordinary way and we are under shock. The player is qualified to play with a medical file and he is in good health."

And the Oran Association published a video showing players from both teams crying in the changing rooms, in a scene that expresses the extent of the shock after hearing the news of the death of their colleague in the hospital.

It is noteworthy that the Omani League witnessed, last Wednesday, the death of Muscat club player Mukhallad Al-Raqadi, during the warm-up process before the start of his match against Al-Suwaiq Club, after he suffered a severe heart attack as well.
