前半のリズムダンス（=RD）では小松原美里選手と尊選手のカップルが自己ベストを更新してトップ。小松原美里選手と尊選手が前半のリードをいかして4連覇を決めるのか、結成2年目の村元哉中選手と高橋大輔選手が逆転で初優勝を果たすのか注目です

前半のショートプログラム（＝SP）を終えてトップは、坂本花織選手。「優勝して一発でオリンピック代表を決めたい」と意気込んでいます。
2位から5位までは、わずか1点の間にいる大混戦。フリーの結果次第では大幅に順位が入れ替わる可能性もあります。

Beijing Olympics representative selection criteria
来年2月に行われる北京オリンピックのフィギュアスケートの日本の代表枠は、男女のシングルがそれぞれ3枠、ペアとアイスダンスはそれぞれ1枠です。
このうちペアは、三浦璃来選手と木原龍一選手のペアがすでに代表に内定しています。カナダに練習拠点を置く三浦選手と木原選手のペアは、新型コロナウイルスの水際対策が強化されたことから、日本との行き来が難しいため、今シーズンのグランプリシリーズで2回、表彰台に上がっている実績を評価して代表に内定しました。
【男女シングル 代表選考基準】
1:全日本選手権優勝者を選考。
2:以下のいずれかを満たす者から総合的に判断して1名選考。
A 全日本選手権2位、3位の選手
B ISU（＝国際スケート連盟）グランプリファイナル出場権獲得者（男子:鍵山優真選手・宇野昌磨選手、女子:坂本花織選手）
C 全日本選手権終了時点でのISUシーズンベストスコア上位3名（男子:宇野選手・鍵山選手・佐藤駿選手、女子:坂本選手・三原舞依選手・宮原知子選手）
3:以下のいずれかを満たす者から総合的に判断し、1、2で選考された選手を含め
3名に達するまで選考。
A 2のA、B、Cに該当し、2の選考から漏れた選手
B 全日本選手権終了時点でのISUワールドスタンディング上位3名
C 全日本選手権終了時点でのISUシーズンワールドランキング上位3名
D 全日本選手権までに派遣した国際競技会、および（日本スケート連盟の）強化部が指定した国内競技会におけるシーズンベストテクニカルスコア上位2名

The selection will be made by comprehensively judging from the groups that meet any of the following.

C Top group of ISU season world ranking at the end of All Japan Championship

D The highest score of the ISU season at the end of the All Japan Championship (Muramoto / Takahashi)
* Participation in the final selection of the All Japan Championship is required.
However, if a player who has won the 3rd place in the world championship in the past cannot participate in the All Japan Championship due to unavoidable reasons such as injury, the player who was the reason for non-participation before the occurrence of injury etc. The results may be evaluated in light of the above selection criteria, and selection may be made while looking at the conditions at the time of the competition.
