Swedish talent Anthony Elanga has extended with the English big club.

The new contract extends over 2026, with an option for another year.

- My highest ambition has always been to play for Manchester United, he says in a press release.

"Perfect environment"

The Swede signed for United's academy already as a 12-year-old - and has mainly played with the youth team.

But since Ralf Rangnick took over from Ole Gunnar Solskaer, Elanga has gained more confidence in the A-team.

- My highest ambition has always been to play for Manchester United.

It is an extremely high standard and this contract is another important moment in my career.

This is the perfect environment for me to take the next step with world-class players and coaches that I can learn from every day, says Elanga in the press release.

In total, Elanga has scored a goal in five league matches and in early December he made his Champions League debut.
