On Tuesday, the news came that new restrictions will take effect from today, Thursday.

The restrictions mean, among other things, that vaccination certificates are required for events of more than 500 guests or participants, as well as distances between the parties and a maximum size of 8 people per party.

SHL's CEO Jenny Silfverstrand was critical of the short lead time and the time the clubs have to change.

- It is under all criticism.

It becomes almost an impossible task and very difficult with so few days to matches.

We will take our responsibility and make the best of the situation, she told Expressen on Tuesday.

"Made a great job"

There are six matches played already on the second day.

Brynäs receives Malmö and some of the staff have had to postpone the Christmas holidays to solve the change.

- All we want is for this pandemic to be over, but we adhere to the guidelines that exist.

It is clear that this at short notice has greatly affected our business and we have thousands of ticket buyers who will now not be able to visit us as planned, Brynäs' communications manager Martin Löf Nyqvist writes in an email.

- Staff who would go on Christmas leave have done a great job to ensure that we will still be able to carry out our events based on the new guidelines.
