The Farco team calls for a rematch in the Egyptian League because of an expelled player

Farco Club, a competitor in the Egyptian Football League, announced that it submitted an official protest to the Professional Clubs Association, calling for the replay of its team's match with Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi, which was held today in the seventh stage of the competition.

Today, Monday, FARCO's media center stated that the club's board of directors lodged an official protest against the Egyptian club's involvement of a substitute player in the place of an expelled player in the two teams' match that was held at the Burj Al Arab stadium in Alexandria.

The match witnessed the expulsion of Ahmed Hammoudi, who scored the only goal for Al-Masry in the 71st minute, after an argument with one of Farco's players, to get a second warning.

The club said that this is a violation of the laws of the game, and that the referee completed the match, which is in violation of the regulations and requires a replay of the match.

It is noteworthy that the match ended with the victory of Al-Masry 1-0, scored by Hamoudi, to raise his score to 13 points in fourth place, while Farco's balance froze at nine points in seventh place.
