Teams from Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile and Peru will join the 16 European teams in Division A of the League of Nations.

The decision to change the composition of the tournament participants was made during the negotiations between UEFA and the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL).
