“Any sport, like any activity, can be practiced by anyone.

Peterson Ceus practices rhythmic gymnastics, a sport where the male category does not exist.

Peterson therefore competes with women and can aim for a national title, but he is not allowed to enter the France team, to obtain a state scholarship or to be recognized as a professional athlete.

But that's not all: the gymnast cannot compete at the international level either, like the European Championships or the Olympic Games, because the men's category does not exist there either.

An injustice that Peterson wants to fight: “I wish more people could do it, and that's why I'm trying to open doors, for other gymnasts, who might have a lot of ambitions.

"In the qualifications for the French championships, the gymnast offers a performance full of grace and gentleness, which earned him second place on the podium:" When I finished passing and people applaud, I admit that always feels good because it's support.

It also allows us to show that we exist, and that our discipline is interesting.

Peterson presents his passion for rhythmic gymnastics in our partner Brut's video.
