Queiroz attacks the referee of the Egypt-Tunisia match: He destroyed our team psychologically, and FIFA must intervene

The Portuguese national team coach, Carlos Queiroz, attacked the referee of his team's match against Tunisia in the match that brought the two teams together this evening, Wednesday, in the Arab Cup semi-final and ended with the victory of the Carthage Eagles with a goal without a response.

Queiroz said in televised statements after the match: "See what the referee did in the match between Egypt and Tunisia. I do not want to comment on this referee, because I do not want to end my career here. He destroyed my team psychologically with his decision in the penalty kick, which everyone thought was incorrect."

And he continued: "The International Federation, FIFA, should analyze these matters in order to choose the appropriate referee."

"Tunisia was more fortunate, so they qualified for the final," he added.

Tunisia defeated Egypt with a goal in the 90 + 4 minute, to qualify the Carthage Eagles to the semi-finals of the Arab Championship from a direct free kick scored by Amr Al-Soulia by mistake.
