Tonight, it's time for Sweden to take on France in the quarterfinals of the World Handball Championship.

France won Olympic gold this summer and, together with Norway, is the favorite tipped in the World Cup.

- It will be very tough, it is the Olympic champion.

But we had two good matches against them in the Olympics, but of course it will be tough.

It is a hard road to reach the semifinals, says Linn Blohm to SVT Sport.

Crossed in the group stage of the Olympics

Sweden met France twice in this summer's Olympic tournament where the Swedes impressed and finished fourth in the end.

First they played a draw in the group stage and then they barely fell in the semifinals.

Blohm then received a red card after going on three two-minute suspensions.

- It can be discussed if everyone was two minutes.

When I got the red card, I just felt "shit, that my first red card will come in an Olympic semi".

Very tough and hard not to be able to be with and fight with the team.

With that in mind, how does it feel to face France again?

- It gives more desire for revenge of course, I really do not want to end up in that situation again.

On the one hand, I want to give everything to win the match but also to make up for what I missed.

I'm very tagged.

"Has extremely good defense"

France has won all its matches in the World Cup and won its group in the main round after victory against the Russian team in the last match.

For Sweden to become the first team to upset the French, the adjustment game must work.

- They have extremely good defense so standing and fighting with them in attack will be difficult.

We must achieve the quick and easy goals.

Defensive and goalkeeping games and running with them will be important.

It is a team that concedes very few goals so our fast-paced game becomes important, says Blohm.

The quarterfinals start at 20.30 tonight.
