28-year-old Johansson did well from start to finish and after eight tough qualifying rounds, she finished eight in a total of 17 strokes under par.

Kinhult and Grant, both 22 years old, finished 26th and 35th respectively in the qualifiers.

The two talents have successful amateur careers behind them and Kinhult, who became a professional at the end of 2019, has since won a competition on the Undertour Symetra Tour.

Grant became a pro as recently as last summer and can also look forward to playing on the world's best tour.

Béatrice Wallin, still an amateur, was also close to securing a ticket to the LPGA Tour but lost her place when she finished with 77 strokes.

Linnéa Ström also did not manage to place among the top 45.
