The President's Cup Jiu-Jitsu Champion will be revealed next Friday

The Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation announced the holding of the second and final rounds of the President's Cup for Jiu-Jitsu at the Jiu-Jitsu Arena in Abu Dhabi on Thursday and Friday, corresponding to 16 and 17 December.

A number of male and female players of different weights will participate in these two rounds to compete with the open belt system, in the categories of youth under 16, youth under 18 and adults over 18.

Yousef Al-Batran, a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, confirmed that the current sports season witnessed many successes and achievements at various levels, and that its agenda was filled with many local and international tournaments, which witnessed the prominent participation of a group of the most important national and international professional players.

He explained that His Highness the President of the State's Jiu-Jitsu Cup represents the jewel in the crown of local championships, and enjoys an exceptional place in everyone's hearts, and contributes to providing the national teams with a large number of talents looking to establish their feet in the competitions, and help their clubs to ascend the podium and win the most expensive title, as well as On the state of strong mobility in the local competition, which motivates the clubs to permanent development and sustainability of work, which ultimately benefits the teams, and that local competitions in general have witnessed a lot of development in recent years, and contributed to expanding the base of practice of the game in the country.

He added: "The President's Cup in its new version allowed the participation of the daughters of the nation in its competitions for the first time, as they performed a fine performance in the opening round that was held last May, and contributed significantly to adding more enthusiasm and suspense to the atmosphere of the competition, which is This is in line with the vision and efforts of the Federation in promoting the spread of this sport among the various segments of society, in which women represent one of its most important pillars.

The second round of His Highness the Head of State's Jiu-Jitsu Cup will witness the participation of five clubs competing among themselves to secure their place in the final round, knowing that the final round will be limited to the three qualifying clubs to compete for the title.
