The Crown Prince of Fujairah reviews the preparations for the World Karate League Championship "Premier League"
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received, in his office at the Emiri Diwan, Major General Nasser Al Razouqi, President of the UAE and Asian Federations, Vice President of the International Karate Federation, and members of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Karate Federation.
During the meeting, His Highness listened to the preparatory work plan for the establishment of the World Karate League "Premier League" to be organized in the Emirate of Fujairah in February 2022, with the participation of a large number of athletes from various teams and clubs.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah praised the honorable results achieved by the tournament in the record of its previous editions, wishing the organizing committee success in organizing the tournament in Fujairah.
His Highness affirmed the emirate's readiness to host the important sporting event, provide support and harness the necessary capabilities for its success and achievement of its goals, thus enhancing the emirate's presence in the global sports field.
The objectives of the tournament, which attract karate players from different countries and contribute to qualifying them to participate in the world championships, were presented. On the sidelines of the tournament, the largest course to qualify referees for the international level will be organized.
For their part, the members of the Emirates Karate Federation extended their thanks and appreciation to His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, to the sports field and his interest in the success of local and international sports competitions that are held on the land of Fujairah.
The Emirates Karate Federation, represented by its President, Major General Nasser Al Razouqi, presented to His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah a "9 Dan" belt and an honorary certificate in appreciation of His Highness' support for combat sports and self-defense games.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Salem Al Zahmi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
