Jonas Jerebko has been clubless since January after leaving Russian BK Chimki.

The Swedish basketball star aims to return to the NBA and lives in the United States.

But in the podcast "Bänkvärmarna" Jerebko opens for Swedes a return to Sweden if there is nothing in the NBA.

- Here I want to play.

If there is nothing, then there will be nothing and then it is up to Mosesson and Larsson and the old men to do something;

if they want me to come and play in Sweden.

It would be fun to give back, says Jerebko.

He is referring to Lars Mosesson, club director in BC Luleå and Borås Basket's sports director Jonas Larsson.

Jerebko comes from Borås but has also played in Luleå.

- It is very interesting that Jonas has started to think about what he intends to do after stopping playing in the NBA, Mosesson says to SVT Sport.

There is no doubt that it would mean a lot to Swedish basketball - and to Luleå - if Jerebko were to join.

- In terms of PR for our sport, it means an incredible amount and for the team above all.

With Jonas Jerebko in the team, we get the league's best players, says Mosesson.

That speaks for Luleå

What speaks for Luleå?

- What speaks for us is that he has been here.

He probably thrives in Luleå and knows many people in Luleå.

I think we are an active club to play in. He has some kind of connection to Norrbotten as well, so it is clear that we must try to spin on such things.

When can it become "business"?

- That question you have to ask Jonas entirely.

He's holding that ball.

Whether Jerebko will come to Luleå remains to be seen - but it is not something that Mosesson expects in the very near future.

- We hope that it can be relevant but it is not something we expect right now, he says.
