Eleven straight three-pointers out of eleven possible have given Juventus a convincing league lead in the Italian women's top league

The latest victory came in Sunday's meeting with visiting Milan, four in the table, where Juventus won 5-2.

It was 2-1 at half time, after Milan's Valentina Giancinti missed a penalty, but Juventus then cemented the advantage in the second half.

The last goal was a pure Swedish production.

Striker Lina Hurtig was substituted after 67 minutes and defender Amanda Nildén after 83 - and the duo then boiled together the 5-2 goal that came in extra time when Nildén accounted for his fourth play of the season and Hurtig took advantage of it and scored his second Juventus goal for season.

Nildén, who last played for Eskilstuna United, joined Juventus this summer and made his A national team debut for Sweden this spring.

Lina Hurtig, part of the Swedish national team since 2014, has played for the Serie A club since 2020, when she left Linköping FC.

Juventus leads Serie A by a large margin, eight points, to the closest chasing Roma.
