Max Verstappen became F1 champion after a great drama.

The race management ordered a restart of the race after Nicholas Latifi crashed and Verstappen clinched the title before Hamilton.

Afterwards, Mercedes raged against the race director Michael Masi and the rest of the jury, when the Mercedes driver and Verstappen's competitor for the title had a big lead which he got rid of with the restart.

"Now we will go out and celebrate"

Shortly after the race, Mercedes filed two protests, but a few hours later the news came: The protests were rejected, and Red Bull driver Verstappen can retain his championship title.

- Now we will go out and celebrate the championship, says Red Bull's stable manager Christian Horner, according to the BBC.
