Maja Dahlqvist is chasing her third straight World Cup victory in sprint after starting the season almost perfectly.
In the sprint qualifier in Davos, Switzerland, the Swede easily advanced to the quarterfinals.
She went out last of the seeded riders, 59th, and went safely to the finish in the qualifier in a sixth place.
Fastest of all in the qualifiers was Eva Urevc, Slovenia.
However, both Moa Lundgren and Moa Hansson missed the top 30, which means that they do not qualify for the quarterfinals.
Norwegian star Maiken Caspersen Falla also failed to move on.
