Pyeongchang Olympic silver medalist 'Baechu Boy' Lee Sang-ho became the first Korean athlete to win a gold medal at the Snowboard World Cup.

Lee Sang-ho met Germany's Baumeister in the final of the snowboard parallel competition.

In the beginning, he was a little behind his opponent, but after halfway down the slope without hesitation and narrowing the gap, Baumeister left the course at the last minute and took the gold medal with ease.

Lee Sang-ho, who became the first Korean player to win the World Cup, turned on the green light for the Beijing Olympics, which is three months away.
