Djurgården is last in the series with 19 points in 26 matches.

In addition to the cancer on the ice, it has been turbulent outside as the former team captain Linus Videll has reported the club for abusive discrimination and the sports director Joakim Eriksson has resigned.

Purely sporting, Loob points out the defense.

- You concede far too many goals, most of all teams.

You can see that from time to time these are very simple goals.

Should something start to happen there, you have to tighten up the defensive game properly.

Letting in 3.5-4 goals will of course not hold, he says.

That Joakim Eriksson resigned, how do you think it can affect?

- In the short term, there may not be much change in how you talk down in the locker room.

But over time, you have to look at the whole organization.

Now it's like starting over.

But it is difficult to start planning for next year given the situation you are in. You have to sort things out.

There are still competent people left in the organization and it is up to them to take responsibility and sort it out.

In "Hockey Night", the current national team captain Johan Garpenlöv was booed up as a potential replacement for Eriksson.

He is in turn replaced by Sam Hallam after the season.

- Many times you talk about culture and then you have to find culture-bearing people.

And it is clear that Garpenlöv is.

He played in Djurgården and has been very successful there.

So why not?

The question is whether he feels it is the right challenge, says Loob.
