Sam Hallam, 42, joined the Lakers nine years ago.

Nine years which has resulted in three Swedish Championship golds.

The current season will be his last in the SHL club.

Henrik Evertsson, who now together with the rest of the management begins a process to find a replacement, about what Tre Kronor can expect:

- A modern and good leader who has a damn good tactical eye in the sport of ice hockey.

He has an ability to take his teams to become winning teams in the end.

A very good quality to have.

How big is the loss for you?

- It is not a big loss at all.

We have been prepared for it to be like this, so that's what we've had to deal with.

We have had the privilege of having him with us for ten seasons and we are aware that all roads end somewhere.

And it is quite reasonable that this one did it after ten seasons.

These are the rules of the game we had, says Evertsson.

- There is nothing that shakes our organization today.

"Of course there is a list"

Despite the club being forced to look around for a new head coach, the organization and game philosophy will not change significantly, Evertsson believes.

- Of course, Sam has not been alone in leading Växjö.

He has a great staff of assistant coaches and other support around him.

None of them disappear so we are in many ways the same association as we were yesterday, so to speak.

We will continue on the path we have set, we will not change because we have a new head coach.

So Sam will not bring any of the staff into Tre Kronor?

- All of our staff have current agreements so they will continue in Växjö Lakers.

How far are you from a new coaching solution?

- It is a highly internal issue.

It's not something I discuss in the media.

Of course there is a list that we work on ... but it is not something we intend to release to public knowledge, how many there are or who there are, says Evertsson and believes that there is no reason to rush:

- We have a coach for the rest of the season, so there is no stress.

It may take the time it takes.
