The Technical Committee of the Professional League adopts the new dates for the competitions

The Technical Committee of the UAE Professional League has approved the new dates for matches in all its competitions, in line with the decision of the UAE government to announce the new system of weekly work for the federal government sector in the country, and to change the weekly holiday to Saturday and Sunday, starting from January 1, 2022.

This came in the meeting held by the committee yesterday afternoon, via remote visual communication technology, headed by Hassan Talib Al-Marri, and in the presence of Tariq Ali Al-Shabibi, Vice President, Ismail Rashid, Nasser Abdullah, Taha Ezzat, committee members, Abdel Hamid Al-Mustaki, committee advisor, and Mabkhout Al-Hajri, committee reporter.

The committee decided to hold the UAE Super Cup match on January 7, 2022, which will bring together Al-Jazira, the league title holder, and Al-Ahly youth, the holder of the President's Cup.

As for the ADNOC Professional League competition, the committee modified the 13th round matches to take place on the 8th, 9th and 11th of January of the same month.

The committee also set the dates for the League Cup quarter-final matches, so that the first leg of the quarter-finals will be held on the 16th and 17th of this month. On the first day, the Kalba and Al-Jazira union meet at six in the evening, then Al-Nasr will host the Al-Wahda team at 8:15 pm, and the quarter-final first-leg matches will continue with the Al-Ahly youth meeting. And Ajman at six in the evening on December 17, and concludes with the Al-Ain and Al-Wasl match at 8:15 pm.

The return matches will be held on January 3 and 4, 2022, and start with Al-Jazira and Al-Ittihad Kalba at five in the evening, then Ajman and Al-Ahly youth at 7:30 in the evening on the first day, while Al-Wahda will host Al-Nasr team at five in the evening on January 4, then Al-Ain will be a guest of Al-Wasl in Tour ends at 7:30 pm.
