Sam Hallam was one of three names that Loob listed in Hockey Night this week (the other two were Roger Rönnberg and Niklas Wikegård).

So it was Hallam in the end.

And although Loob thinks it's a good name, he's also a little surprised.

- Most often, coaches want to keep up with club hockey, the challenge is to get the international experience, Hallam has none, except the CHL (where it has been a final loss).

Sam Hallam himself says that it will be a sad job to leave Växjö, the club he has trained for over ten years.

- A sad job for him perhaps, but it will be a bigger problem for Växjö to find a replacement, says Loob, and mentions Juniorkronorna's outgoing national team captain Tomas Montén as a possible name.
