BK Häcken hosted group runner-up Bayern Munich at home in a snowy Gothenburg.

It was a win that was meant to keep the playoff dream alive.

And it started well.

Stina Blackstenius shocked Bayern when she scored her first Champions League goal after 36 minutes.

But the lead did not last long.

Just three minutes later, Bayern captain Jennifer Magull struck a free kick that went in via Viviane Asseyi, after a return from the Häcken goalkeeper.

And it was not over there.

In another solid situation, Jovana Damnjanovic was able to put in the lead goal.

In the second half, Bayern continued to press the home team.

Ten minutes into the second, Bayern's lead was further extended when Damnjanovic scored two goals.

In the end, Bayern completely dominated the match and scored a 1-4 goal on a free kick and then put the final score 1-5 through a late header.

The match in Gothenburg was the team's last Champions League match at home.

With their three points, they have no opportunity to reach second place in the group and thus have no chance of further advancement.

Bayern Munich currently leads the group with 10 points, with one match less played than Lyon.

The match between Lyon and Benfica starts at 21:00.
