It was four World Cup matches for goalkeeper Martina Thörn, who has the best save percentage of all goalkeepers so far during the championship.

But in the match against Puerto Rico, the Swede was hit in the head twice and is not expected to be able to play until the middle of next week at the earliest.

- This decision is just as much for Martina's sake and for the responsibility we have for her well-being, says national team captain Tomas Axnér to the website.

Instead, Evelina Eriksson, who is the reigning Champions League champion with her Vipers, has landed and joined the squad in Spain.

She has so far played two A-national matches.

- We have continued an extremely strong goalkeeper trio and Evelina has during the entire charge and start of the championship been standby and tested regularly to be able to connect quickly if something should happen, says Axnér.
