The World Cup in parallel ski skiing has begun.

On Tuesday, Zebastian Modin finished second in the sprint in Canmore, Canada.

- Of course you always want to win when it is so close to the riot, Modin says afterwards.

The 27-year-old - who started the World Cup with a sixth place, a third place and now a second place - is still satisfied.

- It was tough but still good.

It was the first sprint for me and Erik (Persson, companion in sick Emil Jönsson Haag's absence).

We are a bit on the road and learned a lot.

Biathlon now remains of the premiere competition.
