To be able to register a team before the World Cup, each player's weight must be filled in, something that made the favorite Norway react.

The Norwegian Federation protested against the requirement for weight registration by entering other figures.

- What we have done is to add weights that are not correct, says the union's Mads Stian Hansen to the news agency NTB.

Appeared on TV

In the broadcasts from Norway's group, the emphasis has also been part of the graphics during the match broadcasts.

- We do not want to focus on that.

The players also agree.

From the Swedish side, people also ask themselves why the weight must be stated.

- It is completely irrelevant what people weigh when you run around and play?

I do not really know what the purpose would be with that.

It is not wrestling where weight classes play a role, says Jamina Roberts.

She is supported by teammate Linn Blohm:

- I do not know what their reason is.

Had they found out the reason or been explained, it might have been different.

I just think: why should they know that?

That's a little weird.

"Unnecessarily"

The Norwegian federation has informed the international federation, IHF, that it does not want the importance to be seen on the television screen.

- But we have seen that it is used.

We hope that they follow up and stop showing the importance, says Mads Stian Hansen.

Nor are the blue and yellow players particularly interested in the importance being seen on television.

- I do not care, but I understand that some people think it is sensitive.

It is well known that some people feel this way and then it may be a little unnecessary to do so, says Jamina Roberts and points out that it can be difficult to talk about weight.
