Shim Seok-hee was disqualified after collided with Choi Min-jeong, who was trying to overtake in the women's 1000m final at the Pyeongchang Olympics.

However, the suspicion of 'intentional collision' arose belatedly as a text message of Shim Seok-hee, which contained content that could be suspected of intentionality, was recently released to the media.

The Ice Skating Federation established an investigation committee and announced the results after 40 days of investigation.

First, it was revealed that Shim Seok-hee had an intention in pushing Choi Min-jung away.

However, he explained that he did not know whether this act was intentionally knocking down Choi Min-jung due to lack of evidence.

Bradbury, who won the gold medal by falling all the previous runners, was mentioned in Shim Suk-hee's text message, but it is difficult to determine whether this situation was intentional.

"It was difficult to determine whether Bradbury was intended to realize it or if it was an act of self-protection for the player attached to him."

The investigation committee said that Shim Seok-hee completely denied the allegation of intentional collision during the face-to-face investigation, but admitted that she was demeaning her colleagues and coaches through SNS.

The Ice Skating Federation will hold a fair committee meeting soon to discuss disciplinary action, and it is expected that Shim Suk-hee's participation in the Beijing Olympics will be decided according to the result.
