Dad Igor Larionov was one of the greatest ice hockey players of all time and was part of the legendary KLM chain, with Vladimir Krutov and Sergei Makarov

Larionov won four World Cup golds, two Olympic golds and three Stanley Cup titles during his playing career.

Larionov junior comes closest to the Chinese KHL club Kunlun Red Star where he made five appearances last season before falling ill and missing the rest of the season.

Igor Larionov was born in the United States and played junior hockey in Canada.

He has not played ice hockey so far this season.

"He's a guy we know has a lot of upside, but he will need some time because he has not played for a while.

He and his team have identified Mora as a good place to come to get his career going again and we feel it is an incredible honor, "says Hedberg.

In fact, Larionov's father has also played in the Swedish league system: In the 2005-2006 season, he scored one goal and three assists in two matches for Brunflo IK from Jämtland in division 1.
