Jordan accompanies Morocco to the Arab Cup quarter-finals

Today, the Jordanian team booked a quarter-final ticket in the Arab Cup, after beating its Palestinian counterpart 5-1 at the end of the first round of the third group, which also witnessed in a second match the Moroccan team's victory over Al-Akhdar Saudi Arabia 1-0.

With this result, Jordan accompanied the Moroccan team to the quarter-finals, waiting to know their rivals after the end of the match between the Egyptian and Algerian teams competing for the top spot in Group D.

Jordan scored two goals in the first half, as it advanced in the 9th minute through a penalty kick scored by Baha Abdel Rahman, then Hamza Al-Dardour increased the result in the 23rd minute, before Tamer Siam reduced the difference for Palestine in the 43rd minute. Jordan continued to score in the second half, as he added Mahmoud Mardi the third, then the fourth of Yazan Al-Nuaimat, before he sealed the same five-year-old Al-Nuaimat in the 90th minute.

On the other hand, Karim Berkaoui scored the goal of the Moroccan team against the Saudi green net through a penalty kick in the second minute of stoppage time for the first half.
