In the early morning of December 6, Beijing time, the 2021 Snooker Championship ended the final day of the competition.

The 24-year-old Chinese player Zhao Xintong finally defeated his opponent Luka Brecher 10 to 5 and won the 2021 Snooker British Championship. This was his first three championships.

Zhao Xintong created a piece of history in the snooker world-became the first "post-90s" player to win the three major tournaments, and is also the youngest British Championship champion since Trump in 2011.

For Chinese snooker, this championship trophy is also worth celebrating-Zhao Xintong is the only second Chinese player to win the British Championship after Ding Junhui.

Prior to this, Ding Junhui had won the British Championships three times in 2005, 2009, and 2019.
