The organization stressed that support for athletes and the Games has often been repeatedly demonstrated over the past months by American politicians.
The Winter Olympics in Beijing will be held from 4 to 20 February 2022.
Earlier it was reported that US officials would not attend the Olympic Games in China.
Thus, American diplomats and officials will not attend the Games.
However, this does not apply to the athletes themselves.
